Chief Ass.Prof. Yordan Hristov Ivanov, Ph.D. is a full-time lecturer at the "Economics and Management of Industry" department at the University of Economics-Varna from 2008. He is a Doctor of Economics from 2007 after the successful defense of his dissertation "Price strategy of the Bulgarian batteries on the national market".

    During the academic 2008/2009 he is lecturing the subjects "Prices and price formation" before the students of major "Economic of Industry" and "Accounting and Control", "Cost Management" before the students of majors "Management" and "Economics of Industry", and leading the seminars of the subject "Fundamentals of Management" before the major "Economics of Industry".

    The scientific activity of Yordan Ivanov is oriented to the management of the single enterprise as economic operator and mainly in the fields of price-formation, calculation of expenses and cost management.     The professional experience of Chief Ass.Prof. Yordan Ivanov, PhD passes over the "Finance and accounting" office at the University of Economics – Varna, CSR at "Ameritrex Bulgaria" Ltd, "Internal auditing" office at "Petrol" Jsc. and business consulting services at "Maga Kont" Ltd, where he is a partner from 2007.
