Rapid changes in the Bulgarian economy since the beginning of this century, outlined new conditions for development of business. Many industrial enterprises have prepared for the challenges of today's global market. The ever-topical question for them to raise their competitiveness. Economic instability in the global economy in recent years and reflect negatively on the development of Bulgarian companies.
Constantly rising prices of basic commodities (fuel, metals and others.) Outlines a number of adverse trends in domestic production - an increasingly high dependence on suppliers, especially of energy resources. This is precisely the basis for barriers to be erected Bulgarian industrial enterprises in their adjustment to new market realities. In the course of change, over the companies from the Bulgarian industry appears and the need for a new approach to developing their business, primarily associated with the development of a set of strategies and measures to overcome the negatives occurred. They will appear a prerequisite for the utilization of existing businesses to achieve competitive advantages for future sustainable development.
        
Outlined general industry conditions in Bulgaria does not skip and for battery production. In the Bulgarian part of the battery plant problems occur because of the lack of a clear strategic vision for development. In this context, the purpose of the report is based on an analysis of trends in the environment in which they operate accumulator plants in Bulgaria, to outline the main problems in their development and offer strategic guidance to achieve long-term competitive advantages.
